We are grateful for GERI’s long-standing collaboration and partnership with the Chrysalis Academy, Tokai – a leading youth development academy in Cape Town, South Africa.
In their session yesterday, Chrysalis Academy Head of Training and GERI Facilitator Janine Turner introduced GERI’s methodology of gender healing through storytelling to the 200+ young women currently enrolled in the academy. Together, they built community through sharing and witnessing, reflecting together on love, family relationships, and their own personal histories and experiences.
As always, appreciation to Chrysalis Academy CEO Lucille Meyer for her championing of GERI and for bringing this gender healing work to so many students and staff in the Chrysalis community.
May this be the start of much more to come this year with the Academy as we continue to deepen in our global community working to transform gender injustice and establish beloved community!
