Join us in-person in New York City on March 17 for a free 90 minute experiential introduction to Gender Equity and Reconciliation International (GERI). This special session is part of the 67th annual conference of the Commission on the Status of Women, held in the parallel NGO Forum, March 5-17, at the United Nations in New York City.
This interactive session will include a practical experience of the GERI process, which utilizes a powerful and proven methodology for achieving gender equality and improving gender relations. Developed over 30 years, and conducted with thousands of participants on six continents, the GERI process brings women, men, and people of all genders together in a safe and unique forum that enables deep sharing of gender-related stories and experiences.
GERI applies truth and reconciliation principles to gender and sexual injustice, and builds trust and compassionate communication through interactive activities and group process. GERI’s methodology was endorsed by Archbishop Desmond Tutu in 2013, and online/in-person courses and trainings are conducted in 15 countries.
